Wiggle Waggle Walk & Run Returns to Brookside Park

Pasadena Humane’s Annual Community Fundraiser for the Animals is Sunday, April 6.

Pasadena Humane’s 27th annual Wiggle Waggle Walk & Run will once again take place at Brookside Park at the Rose Bowl on Sunday, April 6, 2025. This year’s event will be especially meaningful as people and pups come together to honor our community’s resilience and strength after the Eaton Fire.

The Wiggle Waggle Walk, a community fundraiser, promises an exciting day of fun for the whole family. Participants can opt for a 1-mile or 5k walk or run around the Rose Bowl. Following the Walk, attendees and their dogs can enjoy a vendor expo with giveaways for pets and people, a doggy costume contest, the “Sit, Stay and Play” Training Park, numerous food trucks, and more. Attendees do not need a dog to join the fun—just a desire to help animals.

This year, the organization hopes to raise funds for programs like the animal ICU, foster care, the pet food pantry, the Helping Paws pet owner assistance program, and much more. The need for these essential programs has expanded greatly during the emergency response to the fire.

“In the wake of the Eaton Fire, we’re focusing on coming together as a community to celebrate our strength and resilience,” says Mia Dunn, Senior Director of Philanthropy at Pasadena Humane.

Animal lovers are encouraged to fundraise for the animals by registering as an individual or as part of a team on the Wiggle Waggle Walk & Run website and asking family, friends, and coworkers for donations. Participants can win paw-some prizes and compete to take home the title of Top Fundraiser, Top Donor, or Top Fundraising Team.

Registrants can choose to attend the in-person event or participate virtually. General and virtual registrations are $50 through noon on April 4. Onsite registration will be $65. All registered participants will receive a limited-edition Wiggle Waggle Walk & Run t-shirt, bib, dog bandana, and medal.
