The Kitten Lady comes to Pasadena Humane
WHO/WHAT:
With nearly 1 million followers on social media, award-winning humane educator, kitten rescuer and animal advocate, Hannah Shaw the “Kitten Lady,” will be leading a kitten care educational workshop at Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA (PHS) to encourage community members to spay/neuter, adopt and get involved during “Kitten Season.” Every year, animal shelters around the country are flooded with young, homeless kittens during the spring and summer months. To help prepare for the arrival of thousands of orphaned kittens, Shaw’s workshop will help shine a light on the need for foster parents, kitten care and self-care.
The workshop will include live demos and videos that bring kitten care to life and show how simple it is for one person to make a big difference. Other activities will include face painting, the opportunity to name the kittens and creating kitten-themed crafts.
A special “Kitten Lady” meet-and-greet will be held after the workshop for those with VIP tickets.
