Pasadena Humane has been awarded two 2025 Wagsies awards by Hill’s Pet Nutrition and the Association for Animal Welfare Advancement! We won both the People’s Choice Award and Best Shelter Brand Awareness for our video about Skinny Minnie, who came into our care with severe burns during the Eaton Fire.

The Wagsies awards recognize outstanding marketing, promotional and storytelling videos created by animal welfare organizations. The People’s Choice award was chosen by the public through popular vote, and as the grand prize winner, we received $20,000—an incredible amount that will help so many animals.

It was an honor just to be nominated alongside so many other amazing animal welfare organizations. A huge thank you to Hill’s Pet Nutrition, the Association for Animal Welfare Advancement, our staff and volunteers who cared for Skinny Minnie, Mark and Lisa (Skinny Minnie’s parents), and all our wonderful supporters who voted for us.
