Pasadena Humane Hosts Free “Kitten Shower” To Kick Off Kitten Season
Pasadena Humane is excited to announce its annual Kitten Shower on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This free and family-friendly event celebrates the arrival of kitten season and gives the community the opportunity to make a lifesaving difference for some of the shelter’s most vulnerable population.
This fun-filled afternoon hosted at the shelter is designed to inform, entertain, and inspire animal lovers of all ages. Attendees can enjoy:
- Education presentations on neonatal kitten care, fostering kittens, kitten behavior, and information on panleukopenia care
- Face painting for kids
- A vendor marketplace featuring cat-themed art, photography, toys, handmade goods, and more
This event aims to provide resources for anyone interested in fostering kittens — one of the most impactful ways community members can support shelters during this busy season. Pasadena Humane’s foster team will be available to answer questions and help guests begin the foster process, if interested.
The Kitten Shower also helps provide Pasadena Humane’s kitten nursery and foster system with the critical supplies needed to care for these fragile animals. For those inclined to donate, guests can purchase adorable gift baskets at the event or contribute through the online kitten registry.
