Pasadena Humane and the 2025 Rose Court Celebrate ‘Best Day Ever’ for Shelter Pets

Pasadena Humane welcomed the 2025 Rose Court to the shelter for a tour and a service project yesterday. Members of the Court met some pets awaiting adoption at the shelter. They snuggled Lola the rabbit, pet some adorable kittens and received kisses from 115-pound mastiff mix Rex.

The Court then did a service project, making dog toys and cat beds that will be used to provide the animals with enrichment and comfort.

Pasadena Humane will participate in the 136th Rose Parade on January 1, 2025, partnering with Hill’s Pet Nutrition on a float titled “Welcome Home.” The float celebrates a shelter pet’s “Best Day Ever!”—the day they get adopted to their new homes, which is also the theme of this year’s Parade.
