New Virtual Animal-Themed Programs for Kids & Teens
Calling all animal lovers! Pasadena Humane is now offering weekly online programming for kids and teens ages 2 to 15. Regular content includes animal-themed arts & crafts and storytime. Plus, this October, the organization is launching two new programs: Circle Time (Ages 2-5) and Careers in Animal Welfare (Ages 12-15).
- Circle Time (New!): Join Ms. Loni and friends for this 4-week program filled with stories, songs, and special animal friends! Recommended for preschool-aged children but all are welcome. Four-week session starts October 6. $50 per child.
- Careers in Animal Welfare (New!): This 4 part “Podcast Style” Zoom will examine the wonderful world of animal careers. Students will listen, learn, and meet professionals in the field of animal welfare. October guests include Sara du Bouchet, Certified Professional Dog Trainer and Jackson Galaxy, cat behaviorist and host of the television show My Cat from Hell. October 9 & 23, FREE.
- Wildlife in Watercolor: Watercolor along with Miss Loni as she chats with Wildlife Manager, Lauren Hamlett, about lots of amazing wildlife. Suggested for kids 7-11. October 13 & 27, FREE. Register for October 13 (bears and deer) and October 27 (bats and raccoons).
- Storytime: Join Ms. Michelle and Ms. Izzie for virtual storytime along with animal friends. Story Time is suggested for kids ages 4-7. October 6 & 20, FREE. Register for October 6 (Stay at Home, Dog!) and October 20 (Dot the Spotless Dalmatian).
