My family and I adopted Zoey back in October 2012, and we had to make the difficult decision to let her go last week. I was only nine when we adopted her, and she immediately became my best friend. Anyone who met her quickly fell in love with her sweet and goofy nature, and I used to spend time outside playing all sorts of games with her. Everyone was a friend to Zoey, and she welcomed our second dog, Frank (also from Pasadena Humane), into our home easily. Zoey lived to be 14, and I’m proud to say she spent most of her life happy and adored. In return, Zoey instilled in me such an admiration and love for all dogs, that I am now a volunteer at my local shelter in the state where I’m attending college. Thank you guys so much for all that you do, and thank you most importantly for giving my family a wonderful dog!
