On November 10, 2003, my ex-husband and I adopted two adorable kittens. Caramella was a lap-cat and a lover. She passed in 2019 and is greatly missed. But this guy, Piacere, is still going strong 22 years later. Always rambunctious as a youngster, he continues to have considerable mobility and remains relatively healthy, given his age. While not as affectionate as his sister, he is vocal about his expectations for food, treats and pets. He has been a remarkable companion. I’m not sure if 22 years is any kind of record, but he is something special!
