Meet August (Formerly Ewok)

When we first met August (Ewok) back in August 2021, he was very shy and timid. The staff informed us that he would often hide whenever someone would approach him and he wouldn’t eat much food except for hot dogs. They told us that it would take some time (maybe 3 months) for him to open up to us and we were up for that challenge. To our surprise, in less than a week, August would come out of his comfort zone and would want us to give him attention and to play with him. In 5 months, August’s personality has completely changed. He went from a scared, always hiding, barely eating dog to an active dog that always want to go outside and constantly eat. August has made tons of human and dog friends and developed a close relationship with his dog sister, Kiki.
