Update, 1/7, 9:38 p.m.
Due to the fires and severe weather, all non-essential programs and services will be canceled on Wednesday, January 8. We will continue to be available for emergency animal intake.
If you are under evacuation orders, please take your pets with you. Prepare now. Pack a “go bag” with your pet’s food (at least five days worth), water, dishes, toys, and any medications. Ensure your pet is wearing a collar with a current ID tag in case they get lost.
The Pasadena evacuation center is the Pasadena Convention Center (300 E. Green St.). We will have Animal Control Officers onsite to help assist with animals.
If you need assistance with your pet due to evacuation, please call our animal control dispatch at 626-792-7151 ext. 970.
Due to wind conditions, Pasadena Humane will be operating essential services only and will be closing to the public at 4:00 p.m. Walk-in hours, vaccine clinics, children’s programs, and training classes are canceled today (January 7). Pasadena Humane will still be open for pre-scheduled adoption pickups and to assist with animal emergencies through our Animal Resouce Center, which closes at 5:30 p.m., and after hours through our Field Services department.
Please keep your pets indoors, secure gates and make sure your pet has current identification.
