Adopt A Friend During The NBC4 Clear The Shelters Adoption Event

We’re excited to team up with NBC4 for their annual #CleartheShelters campaign. Join us on Saturday, August 28 for a fee-waived adoption event for all available animals, including dogs, cats, kittens and critters! On-site adoptions will be available with no appointment necessary. Since 2015, NBCUniversal’s Clear The Shelters campaign has helped more than half a million pets nationwide find new homes.

All dog and cat adoptions include the spay or neuter surgery, a microchip and age-appropriate vaccines. New adopters will receive a complimentary health-and-wellness exam at VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as a packet filled with information about how to care for your pet.

The event is open to residents of any city looking to adopt a pet. Regular adoption screening applies. View animals for adoption at pasadenahumane.org/pets.

Following current CDC guidelines, face masks will be required in all indoor areas regardless of vaccinations status. Event festivities, dog kennels, and pet adoption line will be outdoors. Please prepare for the heat–hats, sunglasses, sunscreen and water are recommended.
