Animal Control Officers Rescue Charming the Cat
At Pasadena Humane, we don’t just help vulnerable animals on-site. Often times, our Animal Control Officers are rescuing animals directly in the communities and neighborhoods we serve.
Officers Fathalisiah, Rodriguez and Orellana responded to a call about cat wedged in the tiny space between a concrete wall and a shed. They made many attempts to free the cat, but he was stuck. Finally, they moved the heavy shed away from the wall, and the cat was free.
The ACOs scanned the cat for a microchip, and luckily, he had one. Because of this, they were able to quickly reunite the cat, named Charming, with his family.
A microchip is the size of a grain of rice, and along with an ID tag, can help reunite you with your pet if they go missing. Find out more about our vaccine and microchip clinic.
