Barton, healing a broken heart

3 years ago in May I came to your rescue, I wasn’t even looking for a dog. I had just lost my labrador retriever of 13 years 6 months prior. My best friend talked me into going just to “take a look”. We were about to leave when we came across this little guy who was just sitting in his kennel sad and just wanting attention.

We were told that he would be a shy, not really interested in anything and a very chilled dog. Well, he’s anything BUT chilled. I have unfortunately left California, but Barton came with me back to my home state, Wisconsin. He is surrounded by my nephews who love him and he is experiencing winter for the first time. Thank you for Barton as he has been healing my broken heart over the last three years and I can’t wait to take him on more adventures.
