2024 Rose Court Crowns Adoptable Pet Royalty
Pasadena Humane recently received a visit from Rose Court royalty, who bestowed roses upon their favorite animals at the shelter. The adoptable Rose Court picks will have their adoption fees waived as a result of this honor, and adopters will also receive signed Rose Court memorabilia and gifts from the Court.
A total of nine animals were crowned from the shelter’s adoptable animals. Four cats, three dogs, a guinea pig and a snake now make up the Pasadena Humane “Rose Court”, and their kennels are marked with a rose sticker to indicate this honor.
“It was so much fun to have the Rose Court visit with our adoptable pets,” says Dia DuVernet, Pasadena Humane President & CEO. “These young women have love in their hearts for animals, and they are as excited as we are for their selections to get adopted.”
Pasadena Humane is participating in the 2024 Rose Parade. The shelter’s float, “Feed the Love,” is sponsored by Hill’s Pet Nutrition. “Feed the Love” celebrates the bond between pets and their people and encourages shelter pet adoption.
Adoptions are by appointment only, and appointments are released every Wednesday and Sunday at 10 a.m. There are also walk-in appointments available during weekend Visiting Hours, 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.
All adopted dogs and cats will be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Adopters receive a free health exam at a participating veterinarian and a discount at the Pasadena Humane Shelter Shop. Adopters living in the Pasadena Humane licensing service area can get a dog license at the time of adoption. Normal licensing fees apply.
