Dua is a 1-year-old Belgian Malinois with a heart full of potential and a sweet, gentle nature. She was initially found as a stray by a kind Samaritan, who took her in and gave her a safe place to heal and grow. During her time with her finder, Dua proved to be a loving companion, getting along well with the resident small dogs and showing a particularly soft and affectionate side with the family’s children.

While Dua is still adjusting to her new environment at Pasadena Humane and requires more time to feel comfortable around other dogs in our facility, she has shown a strong foundation in her ability to interact with smaller dogs in a more comfortable environment. Her previous positive experiences with small dogs highlight her capacity for forming bonds and her generally friendly demeanor. With a bit more patience and guidance, Dua is sure to continue thriving as she gains confidence in her social interactions. She’s a sweet and promising dog who is ready to find a family where she can share her love and grow even further.
