Jamie Holeman is the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer at Pasadena Humane, bringing over a decade of nonprofit communications experience and a deep commitment to animal welfare. Jamie has been part of the organization since 2009, working to amplify its mission of compassion and care for all animals through thoughtful storytelling and community engagement.

A lifelong animal lover, Jamie began volunteering at local shelters in Los Angeles as a teenager, and later continued that work as an adult in Seattle and Pittsburgh. It was through these hands-on experiences that she found her calling in animal welfare.

Jamie holds a master’s degree in history from the University of Pittsburgh, where her love of research and storytelling helped pave the way to a meaningful career in communications. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling to new countries, exploring her family history, and escaping to the California Central Coast whenever possible.
