Waiting to meet you at the front door is three-year-old Siberian Husky Drake. He was one of many huskies at Pasadena Humane, and emblematic of shelters across the country. Huskies can be very energetic and prone to mischief, and that was especially true of Drake. He was passed over time and again for smaller dogs, younger dogs, dogs that didn’t shed, countless other reasons. He spent over 250 days in our care before finally his Best Day Ever came along. A family with two other dogs met Drake and decided to give him a chance. Drake (now named Rocky) now plays all day with his “brother”, and Australian Shepherd named Freddie, and his family calls him “an angel”.
