Paws and Claws: Spring Camp is a 3-day camp designed for kids ages 7–11 to explore the wonders of local wildlife while connecting with shelter animals. Campers will learn how animals communicate, their habitats, and ways to protect them through engaging lessons and hands-on activities that inspire curiosity and compassion.
While kids won’t interact directly with wild animals—since we aim to keep wildlife wild—they’ll enjoy meaningful encounters with shelter animals based on the shelter’s current population. Each day includes a snack break; snacks are not provided, so children must bring their own food. Please note, this is not a nut-free facility.
*While we cannot guarantee an animal every session, we strive to introduce children to safe and suitable encounters when possible.
Scholarships are available. Please apply here.
