Kids For Animals Club is an enriching after-school opportunity for kids ages 7 to 11 to gain a better understanding of the animals in our community – and beyond! Each week, students will explore topics such as veterinary health, wildlife appreciation, careers in animal welfare, animal-themed arts and crafts, and much more.
This class will explore past, present, and future animal stories. Each week, kids will make animal-themed art, and at the end of the session, kids’ art pieces will be displayed in our annual Pasadena Humane Art Show at the end of the session. Art pieces will be sold to benefit the shelter animals. The artist can claim any unsold pieces at the end of the show.
Kids For Animals Club meets every Tuesday from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for six weeks.
*Please note that while we do our best to introduce children to safe and appropriate animals during KFA Club, This does not guarantee an animal experience every session.
Scholarships are available. Please apply here.
