Meet Aurora

When we saw Aurora, we knew we had to give her a loving home. She had been at the shelter almost a month, she was so so scared and traumatized, the shelter staff weren’t able to pet her or even get near her. She wasn’t eating and wouldn’t allow the vet to examine her. We also adopted Oliver (an outgoing cat) to help her adjust. She was terrified the first few days. She hid in the bathroom behind the toilet. We knew it would take her a while to trust us. We’ve only had her a week now and the progress she’s made has been incredible! She loves ear scratches and pets. She’ll come up and meow and climb on my leg asking for love and affection. She loves to nap with Oliver in my lap. She has so much energy and loves to play. Her favorite toys are the teaser toy and mouse. She has come out of her shell so much, we can’t believe it’s the same cat! She has brought so much joy to our house and taught us how to be patient and kind. We love our sweet girl, thank you Pasadena Humane Society ❤️
