Adoption Promotions
Be Mine
Large dogs are looking for love! From February 9 through February 15, you can adopt a large adult dog (40 lbs. and up) for only $14. Adoptions are by appointment. Adoptions include spay or neuter, vaccines, and a microchip. Regular adoption screening applies. Appointments will be released on February 8 and February 12 at 10 a.m.
Seniors for Seniors
Our Seniors for Seniors program enables people age 60 and up to adopt pets age 5 and up free of charge, thanks to the generous support of the Pets for the Elderly Foundation.
Of course, most pets at age 5 (like most humans at age 60!) are hardly over the hill; on the contrary, they’re just hitting their stride, and the Seniors for Seniors program—besides offering financial assistance to our more experienced adopters—gives an extra boost to the terrific middle-aged cats and dogs, who are sometimes overlooked by shelter visitors.
Pets for Vets
We offer fee-waived adoptions and vaccines for all active duty and retired military personnel. Adopters must show military ID at time of adoption to qualify.
Workshops & Webinars
Our workshops and webinars for animal lovers and pet owners give you the chance to strengthen your bond with your pet and understand peaceful coexistence with wildlife while learning valuable new skills! Dates, times and cost vary.
