Donor-advised funds (DAFs) are one of the easiest, most impactful ways you can help the animals at Pasadena Humane.

DAFs allow you to receive an immediate tax deduction when you contribute to the fund, while providing you with the flexibility to decide when and where to make a gift.  Funds can be designated for a specific program at Pasadena Humane or simply to where they are most needed. Donors also have the option to remain anonymous if they desire.

DAFs are easy to set up and simple to manage, but are not just for the wealthy…DAF gifts can be made for as little as $50. You can set up a DAF with cash, stock or other assets (avoiding capital gains taxes) which will be invested and continue to grow tax free, enabling you to maximize your giving.

You can also create a lasting legacy by naming Pasadena Humane as the beneficiary of your entire account or a percentage of the fund. With a percentage, you can create a family legacy of giving by naming your loved ones as your successor to continue recommending grants. Contact your fund administrator for a beneficiary form.
