Meet 6 Big Dogs Available for Adoption During Big Dog Summer

Summer isn’t just about warm weather, beach time, and barbecues – it’s also a great time to adopt a big dog! We have so many wonderful larger dogs who are looking for homes, so we’re celebrating Big Dog Summer. From June 10 through June 30, we’ve lowered the adoption fee for big dogs (40 lbs and up) to $50. Book your adoption appointment today! 

Here are just a few of the adoptable dogs who are ready to celebrate Big Dog Summer (and beyond) with you: 

Banjo (A501075)

Two-year-old Banjo is very playful and might even pick out a toy to offer you for playtime. He loves a good game of fetch, going for walks, and splashing in the pool. 

Betty (A443007)

Eight-year-old Betty has a joyful spirit and can often be seen running around our play yard with a wagging tail. This happy girl is an active dog who loves to play fetch and tug-of-war. She also enjoys learning lots of new things. 

Dakota (A499263)

Two-year-old Dakota loves getting (and giving) affection, playing fetch, and going for walks in the park. Dakota is a loose-leash champ and will happily relax on a park bench with you. 

Mimi (A501195)

One-year-old Mimi is an active dog who loves to play and has lots of wiggly puppy energy. She’s very smart and can solve a treat puzzle in minutes! 

Queen B (A501493)

Four-year-old Queen B is a sweet and affectionate dog who loves snuggling! She enjoys playing fetch, but takes plenty of breaks for petting. She’ll even sit in your lap to be extra close to you. 

Tofu (A502767)

Four-year-old Tofu is a sweet boy who loves back scratches! Tofu has the cutest tail and body wag when he’s happy and will even put his head in your lap to ask for more petting.
