Pasadena Humane Seeks Models for 2027 Calendar

Does your pet have what it takes to be Pasadena Humane’s Next Top Model? Pasadena Humane’s annual calendar contest opens for submissions on June 1. Pet parents are encouraged to submit their pets’ best photo for a chance to have their furry family members featured in the pages of the 2027 Pasadena Humane calendar. 

This year’s contest offers exciting prizes for winning pets, including a full-month feature, a custom pet portrait, Pasadena Humane merchandise featuring their pet’s image, and more. New this year, pets also have the chance to become Pasadena Humane’s cover stars: the top two overall vote-getters will be featured respectively on the front and back covers of the 2027 calendar. Every photo entry that receives five votes or more is guaranteed inclusion in the calendar pages. All proceeds from the contest will support animals in need. 

Winners will be decided by popular vote. Pets can be entered into one of three categories: dogs, cats and “other pets.” Shelter officials expect the competition to be fierce, as past contests featured hundreds of entries, with the top vote-getters receiving thousands of votes. 

The competition helps raise critical funds to support pets in the community. “Our calendar contest is such a special fundraiser for Pasadena Humane,” says Chris Ramon, Pasadena Humane’s President and CEO. “Every photo submission celebrates the incredible bond people share with their pets, all while benefiting the thousands of animals that rely on us for care, safety and compassion.”
