Let's take a peek inside our Sandra J. Goodspeed W Let's take a peek inside our Sandra J. Goodspeed Wildlife Center! Baby season is in full swing, and our wildlife team is taking in lots of little ones in need of specialized care. The squirrels pictured here were found by a good Samaritan who attempted to reunite them with their mother, but had no such luck. Although there's no substitute for a mother squirrel, our wildlife team does a fantastic job making sure these orphans get all the nutrients and care they need. Baby squirrels require multiple feedings a day, and when they're this young, they even need to be stimulated to go to the bathroom (all tasks their mom would do in the wild). As they get older, they'll move to our outdoor enclosure, where they can practice foraging for food and finding shelter before eventually returning to their wild home. We are also seeing a large number of orphaned baby hummingbirds. At such a young age, these tiny peepers need to eat every thirty minutes! We are extremely fortunate to partner with a certified wildlife rehabber who specializes in hummingbirds to help provide these baby birds with the round-the-clock care they need. If you ever find a baby animal and are wondering if they need your help, we recommend checking out our baby wildlife flowcharts or texting our Wildlife Helpine (link in bio). In some cases, you can actually help reunite babies with their moms!

We're so happy to report that sweet Elmo has fully We're so happy to report that sweet Elmo has fully recovered from parvovirus and he’s been adopted! 🎉 When this tiny 14-week-old poodle puppy came to us weak and sick, he needed intensive care in our ICU and Parvo isolation ward. Thanks to dedicated veterinary treatment, Elmo grew stronger every single day. Now, he’s happy at home with his new, loving family. We couldn’t be happier for this sweet boy and the bright future ahead of him!
Last August, 210 kittens were adopted from us at t Last August, 210 kittens were adopted from us at the @catconworldwide Adoption Village, including an adorable tabby kitten with no eyes named Snickers. Now named Bo (after Bo Derek), she's living her best life with her new family, and we were so thrilled to receive an updated photo from her adopter! Bo is pictured here with her big brother, who absolutely adores her. Swipe to see Bo's story in reverse—from her first few months in her new home, her adoption day at CatCon, and her time in foster care when she was just a baby. Did you adopt a kitty from the Adoption Village? We love getting updates on these CatCon kittens as they grow, so feel free to send them our way!
