You’ll spot Machu and Pichu peeking over the flowers in the windowsill. They were kittens when they were abandoned outside of the Animal Resource Center at Pasadena Humane with their two siblings when they were about six weeks old. Pichu was very sick and losing weight – a very dangerous situation for a young kitten. He was closely monitored in our animal ICU and started on medication. Thankfully, he made a full recovery.

These brothers’ Best Day Ever was the day they were adopted into a loving home, together. They are now about a year old and very well loved- they wrestle each other constantly, and are very spoiled with cat furniture and toys, and the best cat toy- a good cardboard box!
