Relax and enjoy nature with us on Sunday, May 5 from 9 to 10 a.m. at Arlington Garden! Led by Pasadena Humane wildlife staff (Certified California Naturalists), this accessible nature experience begins with an optional stroll around the grounds, where you’ll learn to identify some of the wildlife and native plants. Then, you’ll sit in the garden and observe birds and wild animals while enjoying the beautiful scenery. There will be a short introduction to nature journaling, and you’re invited to draw or write about what you see.
A limited number of paper, pencils, clipboards, and field guidebooks will be available. We encourage the sharing of knowledge and people of all experience levels. We also encourage the use of community science tools such as ebird, Merlin Bird ID, and iNaturalist apps. Please bring your personal scopes, binoculars, and cameras, nature journaling supplies, and folding chair or cushion.
