Looking for some fun events for Valentine’s weekend that involve cats? We’ve got you covered with our Weekend of Love! From February 14 through February 16, we have fun activities and an adoption promotion just for cats, in case you’ve been thinking of bringing a kitty into your life.


PHS After Dark: Purr-fect Match Speed Dating
Friday, February 14, 6pm-8pm

Tired of swiping left? Meet your new feline best friend the “old-fashioned” way at our PHS After Dark: Purr-fect Match Speed Dating event. Our expert matchmakers will be on hand to help you find the cat of your dreams. While you’re mingling, enjoy complimentary snacks & beverages, make handmade cat toys and listen to live music courtesy of CJ Alegre.

Free admission; $14 adoptions; no RSVP required.


Saving Kittens’ Lives & Community Cats 101 with Kitten Lady
Saturday, February 15, 10am-4pm

Join us for a purrfectly pawesome educational workshop featuring award-winning humane educator, kitten rescuer, and unwavering animal advocate, Hannah Shaw, Kitten Lady! Hannah’s Saving Kittens’ Lives workshop helps shine a light on the need for foster parents, kitten care, and self-care. Community Cats 101 examines the various programs that can save feral and community cats and dives deep into how to humanely and effectively trap, neuter, return, and care for the cats in our communities.

Finally, are you looking to adopt a cat or kitten? Starting on Friday, February 14 at 6pm with our speed dating event and going through Sunday, February 16, all cats and kittens are $14 to adopt. The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccines. You can see all our adoptable cats here. Bring some love to your life with a new pet!
