3 Ways to Help Kittens Right Now

During kitten season, hundreds of kittens come through our doors in need of care. Our community is crucial in helping us care for these tiny felines during this busy time of year. There are three ways you can get involved this kitten season: 

Attend our Kitten Shower

Join us at our Kitten Shower on Sunday March 24 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Pasadena Humane as we welcome special guest, Kitten Lady! Kitten Lady will be presenting two fun and informative workshops on fostering and kitten care to educate and empower our community to start fostering. Attendees will also enjoy a raffle, a kitten-naming station, and many other fun kitten shower activities – plus, anyone who’s inspired to foster kittens will be able to sign up at our shower. VIP tickets also include a meet-and-greet with Kitten Lady. 

Sign up to foster

If you’re unable to attend our Kitten Shower, you can still sign up to foster. There are many different fostering opportunities to fit a variety of lifestyles. Bottle babies need to be fed every few hours, while weaned kittens can eat on their own. You can even foster nursing mother cats, who do most of the work taking care of their babies. There’s no previous experience required to foster and no minimum time commitment. You can foster if you live in an apartment and even if you have other pets in your home. Our foster team will teach you everything you need to know and provide you with all the supplies and support! 

Donate an item from our wishlist

Donations of items from our wishlist are in high need as we enter kitten season. Your donation allows us to provide our foster volunteers with all the supplies they need to care for their foster kittens, including bottles, Kitten Milk Replacer, wet food, toys, heating pads, and so much more.
