Postponed: Puppy Pre-School Session @ Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA's Education & Training Center
May 28 @ 5:45 pm – 6:45 pm

For puppies less than 4 months of age only. This class is designed for puppies under 4 months of age and allows owners to take advantage of their puppy’s critical socialization period. Puppies will learn how to respond to their name, get used to being handled and groomed and introduced to walking on leash. They will be introduced to everyday objects, obstacles and other stimulation that will equip them into the next stage of life. Puppies will also have the opportunity to socialize with other puppies in a safe and well managed environment. Owners will be given vital information on early prevention of problem behaviors such as mouthing, biting and house soiling.

Frequency & Duration: 1 hour per week for 5 weeks

Class includes: Homework, Problem Solving Handouts, and Certificate of Completion

Class capacity: 10 students

Course prerequisites: Dogs must be under 4 months of age on their first week of class and have had their first round of vaccinations 7 days prior to the start of class.You must provide proof of vaccination prior to the first day of class.

If you spot a green and white 35’ RV driving to a community event, you have discovered our Wiggle Waggle Wagon (The Waggin’). It extends the boundaries and hours of our organization by visiting events and places in the Los Angeles area. Our “shelter on wheels” is known for bringing a selection of adoptable dogs and cats, as well as current information on our spay/neuter services, area wildlife and PHS programs and services.

Yappy Hour @ Der Wolf

Grab your four-footed best friend and join us at Der Wolf in Old Town Pasadena for “Yappy Hour” on Thursday, June 4 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Enjoy delicious schnitzels, sausages, beer, and visit adoptable dogs from the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA who are ready to go to their ‘fur-ever’ homes. They even have a dog menu! Proceeds will support the programs and services at PHS. Please bring this flyer and show it to your server. We hope to see you there!

Puppy Social Session @ Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA's Behavior & Training Center

A drop in social hour for puppies between the ages of 2-6 months. This is the perfect opportunity to get your puppy socialized with other puppies in a safe and structured environment. Play interactions are managed and supervised by our trainers to ensure all puppies leave with a new positive experience.

Please arrive early to sign in. Doors open at 9:20 a.m.

Frequency & Duration: 1 hour per session; limited sessions are offered during the year

Class includes: Off leash supervised play and socialization with other puppies.

Fees: $10.00. Payment is by cash only and please, no bills over $20.

Class capacity: No Limit
