Pasadena Humane’s Academy offers kids ages 12 to 14 an in-person opportunity to learn about animal care, behavior, health, art & enrichment. At the end of each month, the participants will have a greater understanding of what it takes to pursue careers in animal welfare. Participants will be able to Interview staff, learn about the kennels, tour the pet medical clinics, assist with tours, and observe animal behavior and care, all while earning volunteer hours. Pasadena Humane Academy promotes compassion and care for all animals while encouraging tolerance, confidence and adaptability among participants.

This session will run every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm, April 5 – April 28.
