Law Enforcement Captain Russel Tuttle is a fourteen-year veteran of the United States Forest Service. Captain Tuttle came to the US Forest Service from the United States Air Force where he served as a heavy equipment mechanic and teacher for over ten years in multiple locations around the world. He is a graduate of National American University where he majored in Applied Management. Captain Tuttle has been awarded for outstanding performance in the line of duty. In 2017, he received the United States Attorney’s Office – Central District of California, Law Enforcement Award for outstanding performance for his work on the Powerhouse Fire.
