Making a Difference

Cyndey’s Journey

Cyndey was only a month old when she came to Pasadena Humane in need of help. She had a large ulcer on her right eye, along with a ruptured wound on her left. The poor kitten was in horrible pain, unable to see or close either eye. Unfortunately, our veterinary staff determined that Cyndey’s vision could not be saved. Due to her terrible pain, both of her eyes needed to be removed. This sweet kitten’s surgery was a huge success, and she’s since adjusted well to her new life without sight. Before long, she found a wonderful home and family to call her own.

Muffin Gets a Second Chance

The animals at Pasadena Humane are wishing for warm homes and loving families to call their own. Animals like Muffin, who was only six weeks old when he was rescued from the RV of an overwhelmed caregiver along with 9 other dogs. Muffin and the others were carefully loaded into crates and quickly transported to the shelter, where our veterinary staff examined each of them for injuries and illnesses. Luckily, Muffin and the others were in overall good shape. We provided each dog with nourishing food and a safe, comfortable place to rest while they awaited their new homes. Before long, all of the dogs found families of their own, where they will only know love from now on.
