Zena came to Pasadena Humane as a stray. She had a mild injury and a couple of skin issues that were quickly addressed by our Health Staff. Zena doesn’t like much being in the kennels and wants to be free! Getting her out of the kennel and for a walk, Zena is a different dog. A volunteer recently reported: “She was easy to leash. Calm, walked well thruough kennels. She sniffed and trotted around the Play yard. Then she solicited touch…pets on head/chest, and even backed in for butt scratches with her stubby tail wagging back-and-forth. Walked well around block, and had a calm presence around passersby.” At a young six years old, Zena qualifies for our Seniors for Seniors Program. This means if an adopter is sixty years old or more, then her adoption is totally Free! Zena is a name that means “friendly,” what more do you need?
