Puppy Social Session @ Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA's Behavior & Training Center

A drop in social hour for puppies between the ages of 2-6 months. This is the perfect opportunity to get your puppy socialized with other puppies in a safe and structured environment. Play interactions are managed and supervised by our trainers to ensure all puppies leave with a new positive experience.

Please arrive early to sign in. Doors open at 9:20 a.m.

Frequency & Duration: 1 hour per session; limited sessions are offered during the year

Class includes: Off leash supervised play and socialization with other puppies.

Fees: $8.00 for currently enrolled students; $10.00 for general public

Class capacity: No Limit

Animal Adventurers: Shelter Scavenger Hunt @ Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA

Join us for an exciting adventure with the PHS Shelter Scavenger Hunt. Your child will tour the PHS Campus and learn about pet care basics (listen for clues!). Then it’s off the dog kennels, Neely Cat Cater and Animal Care Campus for a fun scavenger hunt. Prizes will be awarded to all children. This month’s program is for children age 6-12.

Barks and Books @ South Pasadena Public Library

Barks and Books is our reading enrichment program for children ages 5 to 12 that makes reading fun, boosts confidence and encourages respectful, humane treatment for all animals. It offers children the opportunity to read animal related short stories of their choice to dogs in our Companion Animal Program.
