Viuda is a Spanish word meaning “widow.” Pasadena Humane’s Viuda came in due to the passing of her owner. She is well-named . . . for now. Looking for a new home (and maybe a new name), Viuda is understandably confused and anxious. Staff is working with her to help her to adjust and become calm. Any adopter of this gorgeous black kitty would need to give Viuda her personal space and plenty of quiet time to adjust to a new home. Viuda is also the name of a spicy sauce.
