About this pet
Pit Bull Terrier Mix | 13 Years | Male
Tyga is an American rap singer and one of his songs says, “I’m best . . . I’m blessed.” Pasadena Humane’s Tyga isn’t a rapper, but he did cry when his owner moved away and left him at the shelter. He had lived his entire life with that owner and now at age 13, he finds himself without a home. Looking at his picture, one can see an obviously well cared for dog with good looks on top of it all! He is described by staff as calm and getting adjusted to his surroundings. His owner reported that he is an indoor dog and that he is house-trained. He is good with people and also good with kids. However, he doesn’t really like the mail carrier much, but then, how many dogs do? He knows his “sit” command cue. Volunteers report that he enjoys getting petted, plays with a ball, and that he walks well on leash. His age qualifies him for our Senior for Seniors Program in which any adopter who is sixty years old or more can adopt Tyga completely free! Yes, he’s a bit stiff in his joints, but that means he’s all the more in need of a warm and loving home. Tyga needs to feel blessed again and with someone who thinks he’s the best!
