Guinea Pigs really don’t need a whole lot of care, just some of the basics such as fresh water and food each day. But make them your best buddy! Handling them early helps them to enjoy human contact. Guinea Pigs have a good life span and most interestingly, will purr contently in your lap and communicate through a variety of sounds and squeaks all of which can mean some specific thing. Guinea Pigs can make for a good pet even if space is at a premium.
