Guinea Pigs are great pets! Handling them early helps them to enjoy human contact. Guinea Pigs have a good life span and most interestingly, will purr contently in your lap and communicate through a variety of sounds and squeaks all of which can mean some specific thing. It’s important that they have fresh food and water every day. Guinea Pigs can make for a good pet even if space is at a premium.
