Puppy Kindergarten is an introductory-level course for puppies 4 to 6 months of age that focuses on puppy socialization and early training. This five-week covers obedience essentials such as sit, down, stay, come and loose leash walking. We will also problem solve typical puppy problem behaviors such as puppy mouthing, chewing, jumping up, and house soiling.

Frequency & Duration: 1 hour per week for 6 weeks

Fees: $150 for general registration; $110 for dogs adopted from PHS; $85 for active PHS volunteers**

Course prerequisites: Dogs must be between the ages of 4 to 6 months and must be able to be handled by a friendly stranger and able to work safely around people and other dogs on leash. Puppies must have their first full round of vaccinations. You must provide proof of vaccinations prior to the first day of class.
