COST
$30 per pet
We charge a $30 flat fee per dog or cat that includes any services your pet may need, including vaccines, microchip and parasite control. Payment will be collected at the time of appointment booking through our online scheduling system.
California law requires every dog over four months old to be vaccinated against rabies and licensed. You will be required to license your pet at our Vaccine Clinic if your dog does not already have a pet license. If the rabies vaccine is current and you have proof of spay/neuter you may purchase the license in advance. Please bring proof of previous vaccines and spay/neuter to your appointment. There is an additional fee for a pet license. Fees vary by city.
APPOINTMENTS
A limited volume of low-cost vaccine appointments are available to residents of Pasadena Humane’s 11 service cities. Proof of residence is required to book. Book your vaccination appointment online using the scheduling tool. Appointments will open on the last Sunday of every month for the following month.
Demand is high and appointments fill quickly. If you are unable to find an appointment, please check back throughout the month for cancellations or visit our veterinary resources page for a list of other local providers.
Please make a separate appointment for each pet. We allow a maximum of two pets per vehicle. Once your appointment is confirmed, you will receive an e-mail confirmation with further instructions.
Because we are a high-volume clinic, we are unable to monitor pets for vaccine reactions. If your pet has had an adverse reaction to vaccines in the past, we kindly ask that you consult your regular veterinarian regarding vaccinations.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT VACCINATION
Please monitor your pet for 24 hours after vaccination. It is not unusual for a pet to be quiet and uncomfortable for up to 24 hours after a vaccination. There may be localized pain, loss of appetite, and lethargy associated with shots. If these signs persist longer than 24 hours, take your pet to a veterinarian for examination.
If you are concerned for your pet after their vaccination, view our vaccine reaction information sheet.
In the rare case your pet experiences a life-threatening anaphylactic reaction from the vaccine, please take them to a veterinary emergency clinic right away.
