German Shepherd Dog Mix | 9 Years | Female

Sally and Pumpkin came to us after their owner tragically died in a car accident. The pair of sweet senior shepherds are incredibly bonded. Having been through so much with the loss of their owner, we are committed to finding them a home together.

Both dogs are super loving. Pumpkin is more forward, regularly seeking pets and sticking her paw through the bars seeking contact with people. Sally looks to Pumpkin for guidance and follows her lead, accepting pets and taking treats after Pumpkin shows her it’s okay.

The two are so closely bonded. They seek one another out and give each other kisses on the mouth for reassurance. The shelter environment has been overwhelming, but luckily, they have each other for comfort.

Both Sally and Pumpkin are senior shepherds and will need additional vet care in their new home. Pasadena Humane will be providing a year’s supply of senior dog food from Hill’s Pet Nutrition and joint supplement to their adopter.
