Pharaoh

Category: Home to Home

About this pet

I found Pharaoh living in an abusive situation a year ago and convinced the owner to let me take him to find him a better home. I found him a home, but due to his allergies/their lack of time they returned him to me a year later. I also have a dog with allergies so I was able to get him cleared up and looking good with a diet change in a few short days. I love him and wish I could keep him myself but know it’s not a decision I am financially capable of. He is very well trained, loving, tested w/ older children and large dogs. He does not pull on- leash and has been successfully tested off- leash as well. He just wants to do the right thing and is capable of learning new tricks if trained to do so. I want to keep him in my home til his forever home finds him because he deserves so much more love than he has been shown thus far. He has NEVER shown any signs of aggression but he needs to be shown a lot of love and kindness in order for you to gain his trust and affection.

Happy Sunday Bunday! With Easter approaching, rabb Happy Sunday Bunday! With Easter approaching, rabbit adoptions often increase as people impulsively adopt these sweet animals as gifts, but many of these "Easter bunnies" wind up in shelters after the holiday is over. As with any pet, it's important to fully research their needs before adopting and be willing to make a lifetime commitment to them. Easter comes but once a year, but rabbits can live anywhere from 5-12 years! And remember, adopting a pet for your child can be a wonderful way to teach kids to care for animals and to promote kindness to living creatures - but the ultimate responsibility for caring for the pet is yours.

Bunnies can make great family members (they even be litter box trained and clicker trained!) and we encourage you to look into whether a rabbit is the perfect pet for you! Swipe through to see some of the adorable buns currently available for adoption.
