Daenerys is a nine year old beautiful, intelligent, and loving, strong female dog. She was born on a farm in Kentucky and brought up to the New York City area where she was rescued and brought into a loving home for nine years. Daenerys’s owner’s wife (newly married) has a skin condition that prevents her from contact with dogs or areas that dogs have recently been, so living with her currently family has been difficult. She is very excited to be introduced to a new lovely person or couple.

She is the perfect companion for someone who enjoys both going outside and relaxing on the couch at night for a movie. She provides many licks and kisses upon request and particularly enjoys her belly and hind quarters being rubbed. Whatever energy level you bring, she will rise to the occasion.

She is comfortable with calm and confident dogs of all sizes and currently lives with a house of two small poodles. She prefers adult humans, and especially adults who cheat her feeding times a little earlier by an hour or so.

Her temperament is mostly calm and quiet as she is getting on in her years, but she loves playing or just going for a walk in the morning and is the most excited and happy when her owners come home. She recognizes and loves a large number of people in her owners current family, and she is very friendly to those she gets a chance to be introduced to.
