Pet parents will learn how to navigate through frustration & boredom behaviors such as jumping\, barking\, & mouthing. We’ll teach your ‘tween to relax while you learn motivating training building blocks that will carry you through adolescence and beyond! \n\nDogs must be between 4-6 months of age at start of class date\nLimit 8 dogs per session\nDogs must have one adult pet parent present\nDogs must be wearing a collar or harness and leash\nPlease bring at least two cups of your pup’s favorite treats\n$120 for 3 week course\nYour dog must be free from signs of illness (coughing\, nasal discharge\, vomiting\, diarrhea) to attend classes.\nIf your dog is exhibiting signs of illness including coughing\, you will be asked to exit the class\nYour dog must have completed all vaccines including Rabies\, Bordetella\, Canine Distemper and Parainfluenza (DAPP)\nWe highly recommend your puppy receive the Canine Influenza Vaccine. We will introduce your dog to entertaining indoor training games including beginning scent-work and amusing tricks. Get ideas and advice from our certified trainers on how to provide your pup with alternatives to daily walks on days when the paws aren’t suitable for the pavement. SUMMARY:Birding and Naturalist Led Walking Meditation
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a nature walk! Led by Pasadena Humane wildlife staff (Certified California Naturalists)\, participants are invited to walk the JPL/Devil’s Gate Dam loop while learning to identify native plants and local birds. Embrace a slow and mindful pace to practice following your breath and being present in your body as you connect with the other living things on the trail. \nWe encourage the sharing of knowledge with people of all experience levels. We also encourage using community science tools such as ebird\, Merlin Bird ID\, and iNaturalist apps and will assist those who would like to utilize them on their phones. Bring your own scopes/binoculars/cameras. We will also provide limited field guidebooks. \nThis walk is suitable for all ages. Please note that the walk is approximately three miles long with minor elevation changes\, uneven and unpaved ground\, and some stairs. \nLook for a large Pasadena Humane van. Carpooling\, biking or public transport is encouraged.
