SUMMARY:Jr. Volunteers (Ages 12-14)
DESCRIPTION:$215 per four-week session \nEmbark on a compassionate journey with Jr. Volunteers at Pasadena Humane! Designed for ages 12-14\, this four-week program on Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. immerses young animal enthusiasts in the realms of animal husbandry and enrichment with service activities like making essential heating pads for neonatal kittens\, assembling care packages for different teams and creating pupsicles for shelter dogs. Jr. Volunteers will practice the values of responsibility\, empathy\, teamwork\, and service. Jr. Volunteers will receive service hours for each class they attend. \nWith a registration fee of $215\, extend a helping hand to paws in need and join us in fostering a community of caring hearts! \n*While we cannot guarantee an animal experience in every session\, we strive to introduce children to safe and suitable encounters with our furry companions when possible. \nScholarships are available.
