DESCRIPTION:This month’s walk will be co-led by Pasadena Humane’s Director of Wildlife Education and Services\, Lauren Hamlett\, and Chief Veterinarian\, Dr. Maria Pyrdek. They will focus on their work in local wildlife rehabilitation\, what to do if you find distressed wildlife\, and how wildlife rehabilitation contributes positively to the overall health of our local ecosystems. \nAttendees will observe and engage with native plants\, practice some basic bird identification\, and discuss how the things we see on the walk connect to wildlife health.

Adoptions include spay or neuter\, age-appropriate vaccines\, and a microchip. Regular adoption processes apply. Licensing fee may apply. No appointment necessary. We will not be offering meet-and-greets between pets\, so please leave your family pets at home.

DESCRIPTION:Pasadena Humane is more than a shelter; we are a resource for all animals in the community. Join us for a guided tour to learn more about how we help animals in need. During this hour-long tour\, you’ll hear about our history\, programs\, and services while viewing adorable dogs\, cats and critters looking for new homes. The tour will start at the Animal Resource Center. We’ll then travel through the Neely Cat Center and dog kennels learning more about the animals in our care. The tour will end at the Shelter Shop. \nTours are appropriate for all ages and limited to 15 guests.
