DESCRIPTION:Cat lovers\, mark your calendars: CatCon 2025 returns to the Pasadena Convention Center on August 2–3 for a weekend of feline fun\, community\, and celebration. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the beloved event\, which has become a must-attend for cat enthusiasts nationwide. \nPasadena Humane has been named the official charity beneficiary and will once again run the fan-favorite Adoption Village\, where nearly 200 kittens found homes in 2024. Organizers hope to surpass that number this year\, with all adopted kittens coming spayed or neutered\, vaccinated\, microchipped\, and sent home with starter kits. \nClick here to learn more about CatCon!

DESCRIPTION:Pasadena Humane is more than a shelter; we are a resource for all animals in the community. Join us for a guided tour to learn more about how we help animals in need. During this hour-long tour\, you’ll hear about our history\, programs\, and services while viewing adorable dogs\, cats and critters looking for new homes. The tour will start at the Animal Resource Center. We’ll then travel through the Neely Cat Center and dog kennels learning more about the animals in our care. The tour will end at the Shelter Shop. \nTours are appropriate for all ages and limited to 15 guests.

DESCRIPTION:We’re litter-ally not kidding – we’ve got a training class for kitties! Whether you’re a first time cat guardian or already a pawsome pet parent\, this 3 week class is for you. Get up-to-date behavior advice for your 8-14 week old kittens from a Certified Cat Behavior Counselor. Safely socialize your pet with other kittens and new people in a clean\, managed environment. Our cat training “purrfessors” will cover topics including litter box habits\, mouthing\, scratching\, harness training\, & much more! Kindergarten is not appropriate for kittens who are still learning to build trust with humans. Not sure if this class is right for your kitty?
