Our expert-led exploration allows groups of up to 20 scouts\, accompanied by two adult chaperones\, to uncover the care we provide to the diverse animals that pass through our shelter annually. \nYour troop can choose: \n\nThe Pasadena Humane experience which is suitable for all ages within any troop where your troop will go on a tour and engage in a service project for shelter animals depending on shelter needs.\nThe Tailored program meets patch scout requirements ranging from Brownies to Cadettes. These tailored programs ensure an educational journey resonating deeply with each scout’s level and interests.\n\nJoin us and let the curiosity of your troop ignite as they discover\, learn\, and earn a badge that signifies their dedication to animal welfare. DESCRIPTION:Don’t say “basic” like it’s a bad thing! Your dog could be basically awesome after taking Basics 101 at Pasadena Humane! This 5-week class covers level 1 core skills for adult dogs. Our certified trainers will teach you how to motivate and communicate with your dog in a fun\, positive way. You’ll learn requests like lie down\, follow me\, go to place\, and the foundations of important life skills like loose leash walking. Dogs in Basics 101 should be comfortable enough to stand calmly and take treats within 10 feet of other dogs.   \n\nLimit 9 dogs  \nDogs must have one adult pet parent present \n$215 per 5-week session \nYour dog must be up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines\n\nThis class meets: \nSundays\, April 13-May 11\, 12-12:45 p.m.
