From August 28 through September 1\, adoption fees are waived for the 12 dogs that have been at the shelter the longest: Pepper\, Koa\, Rocky\, Leslie\, Sunset\, Bonnie\, Clyde\, Mia\, Nero\, Jabarkus\, Charles\, and Trina. They promise they’ll never eat your homework (without letting you know in advance) and they’ll always make time for the best subject of the day (recess). Adopt an A+ pup today!

DESCRIPTION:$215 per four-week session \nEmbark on a compassionate journey with Jr. Volunteers at Pasadena Humane! Designed for ages 12-14\, this four-week program on Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. immerses young animal enthusiasts in the realms of animal husbandry and enrichment with service activities like making essential heating pads for neonatal kittens\, assembling care packages for different teams and creating pupsicles for shelter dogs. Jr. Volunteers will practice the values of responsibility\, empathy\, teamwork\, and service. Jr. Volunteers will receive service hours for each class they attend. \nWith a registration fee of $215\, extend a helping hand to paws in need and join us in fostering a community of caring hearts! \n*While we cannot guarantee an animal experience in every session\, we strive to introduce children to safe and suitable encounters with our furry companions when possible. \nScholarships are available. SUMMARY:Little Dogs with Big Feelings
DESCRIPTION:Does your small dog seem to struggle on daily walks? Wondering why they seem to be fearful of some things\, and aggressive towards others? You’re not alone! Join other pet guardians in this 5-week course. Our trainers will guide you and your small dog to become more confident and restore peace to your outdoor adventures. Using positive reinforcement and helpful management ideas\, we can help build essential training skills for you and your dog. Our classroom structure is designed to reduce visual contact and is limited to only 6 students. Appropriate for dogs under 30 lbs. We recommend that dogs with reactivity at distances of 20 ft. or more seek private help from a certified professional dog consultant prior to attending this class. \n\nLimit 6 dogs \nFor dogs under 30 lbs.\nDogs must have at least one adult pet parent present\nDogs must be up to date on vaccinations & flea medications\nDogs must be wearing a harness\, collar\, and on a 6-8 ft. leash\nPlease bring your dog’s favorite soft\, easy-to-chew treats\n$280 per 5-week session \nThis class is not appropriate for dogs with a bite history\nThis class is not suitable for dogs who are reactive to people.\n\nAvailable Sessions: \nWednesdays\, July 31-August 28\, 5:30-6:15 p.m. \n\n  \nLittle Dogs with Big Feelings – AUDIT (LDBF-A) is for pet guardians of reactive dogs who would like to learn from our certified trainers without taking their dog to class. Students who audit may take notes and observe other dog handler teams in our Little Dogs with Big Feelings course. You will have the same access to instructional homework assignments to work with your dog in the comfort of your home. “Ask-a-trainer” email access is also included. Perfect for those whose dog may be reactive to people\, are scent/sound sensitive\, or are too anxious to work in the classroom environment. \n\n$210 for 5 week course\nEach session is 45 minutes in length\nLimit 2 Audit students per class\nPlease no audio or video recording during class\nFor pet guardians only. Do not bring your pet to class\n\nAvailable Sessions: \nWednesdays\, July 31-August 28\, 5:30-6:15 p.m.
